Poem: Hermeneutics of Hope
What did you know of hope as a child,
before you were taught 'unintended consequence'?
You were blinded by the expectation of a desired result.
Hope, change, progress, all concepts that presuppose answers
without knowledge of the Question.
A prejudiced reality, bounded by the weight of consequence,
is masquerading as the concept of freedom.
As soon as I hope, there is despair.
As soon as I progress, there is regression.
There is nothing fundamentally unsatisfactory about the world,
which is free without any injunction.
As far as freedom is concerned, there is no Question.
